Perhaps they did short term. That's not so short.
Long-term though I think that it's essential that we prove as much as possible so as to be a potential PCR replacement.
Germany is limiting PCR testing. In the 2nd week of 2020, they only conducted 2,164 PCR tests per 100,000 people. On the other hand, Austria are doing the opposite and tested 89.5K per 100K people. In Berlin, it's 50 EUR per test. In Vienna, it's 6.8 EUR.
Had a look at the German data. Here are the best tests that score 70% or more at Cq>30. There ARE some good Chinese ones apparently. Look at that lifecosm and guandong longsee ones. 100% across the board. That's where we belong I reckon.
