I am not sure how doing crossings in the market as a SEATS operator (using the 1 share you are talking about) have anything to do with short selling. I assume this part is just you venting at anyone that has a different view to you.
You would know if you have done this that you have to sit on the offer and you can't hit the bid. You would also know it is extremely difficult to make money as you not only have to pick the right stock but you need to get the timing right.
As platinum Capital have shown us over the last few years.
