Hi Nige,
I personally believe BCC is a better company. It is already producing, has diverse assets and a well communicated growth plan.
Having said that the market has started to factor all this in. It's sp is now over 10c.
vil currently has one excellent prospect with a very good possibility of success. If sucessful the company could grow along a similar business model to bcc. The big thing with vil is that we have not seen the market factor much of this in yet. So (hate to say it) IMO vil is a low risk entry at these levels. As we approach spudding we could easily see a stellar run. At which point vil holders from these levels should easily able to de-risk themselves completely and go free-carried.
So even though I feel bcc is a better company I believe that at the moment vil presents a better risk reward play.
Disclosure: I hold both bcc and vil
