I agree with this too... it looks more like the people of Ukraine, shown on SBS last night, aren't at all keen on the US ramping or the Russians across the border. they've been living with the threat and say they are ready.
little old ladies, picture cheery chubby rubicund cheeks and a smile, snub nose and fluid eyes.... are prepared to go into their family bunkers and wait it out.
I also watched Zelensky's presser. he seemed very straight in his manner. genuine. wanting the yanks to bog off.
yet I wouldn't downplay the threat that Russia poses. they have their own agenda and they started by sending a reported 100,000 along the eastern border and then more along the Belarus border in the north.
Russia has a lot of places they could do these "exercises"..... there needs to be a strategic reason they are so situated.
