when WGO announced departure of David Biggs, I read that announcement as saying that MacDonald was to replace him, and that MacDonald would move house from Scotland (or wherever) back to Aust - Perth. (alos on the assumption that WA remains part of the Australian nation!)

But reading the latest Qtrly it sounds like MacDonald will remain overseas, and manage/ "oversee" WGO from the other side of the world!?
The Board will leave the remaining mgt based in Perth, to manage its operations.
