hedonistic pleasure cannot bring satisfaction...
but satisfaction can be found...
as a 'high' or means to resolve pain, hedonistic pleasure cannot be sustained.
objects of pleasure cannot satisfy, because the pleasure cannot be sustained and the cycle of pleasure/craving, i.e., addiction, brings diminishing returns
but if pain can be removed, then there will be a different kind of pleasure (and a different kind of love)
by pain, i am referring to the inner emotions that torment human beings when they are alone, such as loneliness, agitation, fear, restlessness, boredom, etc
