I had a closer look at this 50% mark which Mongo indicated we hit last night.

I am reminded that Dow and NASDAQ bottomed 9 March so that gives 515 days (2008 was a leap year) into the low and 50% becomes 257.5 days which is 21 or 22 November. That's this weekend.

With the S&P500 I get 512 days high to low, 50% is 256 from 6 March = Tuesday. Today.

My counting of days could be off but I've checked a few times and am pretty sure this in correct.

The point being, that 50% resistance in time may not yet be having as large an effect as one may think and I wouldn't write off another burst up just from the 1/4 mark yet so tight stops for me.
