I am now buying TGF/ COV story after watching for some time after being introduced via CFE which I am a holder of.
COV/ TGF will be my 'blue sky' goldie; holding SLR and EVG already. 3 very different gold companies.
COV will now be linked to the TGF SP, which in turn may be weak in the ST. This is because some TGF holders may sell after realising that they are not going to get the cash back from the TGF cashbox. Thus, by association COV will be weak ST.
TGF is obviously a CFE influenced company and you can bet that TS is driving this merger.
I am confident now that COV believes (even if it is internally) of significant potential gold deposits and that TS/ CFE also believe that to be the case.
TS/ CFE have sorted out COV's cashflow issues via this proposed merger(which was my concern initially) and there is very little/ if any risk of it not going through.
I'm in for a punt that they turn up a Tropicana sized discovery.
