Good point sugadante....I have been harping on for yonks about the Chinese interests in Senegal...debt remissions..infrastructure loans...payments to keep Government salaries going etc etc.amounting to $US billions.
Why? probably just kindness??? not likely! Hunt left..now Shell...extension of lease to FAR who cannot in a thousand years be the developer. Why? Deal done with the Chinese and the political fallout for Shell and Hunt is not worth the effort. Shell made a strategic mistake going in!
I think my deeplode.com blogs (which a few people read) have been on the money for months (and not just about FAR)
