Also potentially getting the vibe that the share price has found its bottom and tides are turning a bit, which may make the shorters reluctant to open new shorts at these levels.
That would lead to a reduction in downwards pressure.
All we need now is a hint of sustained upwards motion, and have the first shorts start to cover. That'll trigger price moves like we've seen in the past (IMO), and may be kicked off by good news, but may just happen as the weaker handed shorts (or smart ones) start taking profits.
Purely my hopeful theory.
