    Hi Johnny,
I see that you have pinged/quoted me in several posts, currently I am on lunch break so will respond to this one as best I can.

Re elections and the excuse you say the 'government' is using to delay these elections. Part of the problem especially in the north is that some many people have been displaced from their place of origin/village etc, that holding elections now would not give these displaced Malians a proper voice. So the government want to neutralise as many insurgents as possible to enable these people to return to their villages etc. Now asking for five years is a bit of a stretch but two years seems pretty logical to me.

The 'government' have the support of the people, no riots on the streets, business carrying on as usual, attacks on villages have stopped, hundreds of insurgents neutralised etc etc. The Malian people are just taking their country back and France as a former colonial power is not happy. I have been to France on many occasions (i used to take family there for 10 years of more) , the French are lovely people, great food great wine, great weather . The current French leader Macron I am not a big fan off, him and Trudeau are just populists who (imo) are going to cause more problems that they solve.

So to sum up, nothing against the French and the 'Government' in Mali are doing a bloody good job in securing their Nation in order to hold fair and just elections for all Malians, (the same could not haven been said if the French were still in control of the north).

    Regards
    FINN
