The Dick Smith story should have lead to criminal charges. It was misleading and deceptive conduct at best, fraud at worst. Unfortunately, this is the way is Western "markets" these days. They're allowed to get away with it as long as they maintain their political donations/favours. I mean, even in little old Humm it's there for all to see, AF, AA and JW all get on a boat down at Sorrento, couple of dom perignons, discuss how they can solve each others problems and away we go, all with the "independent financial advice" from long time liberal friend and fellow Sorrento resident, one Charles Goode. Nothing to see here.
