So as at 31 Dec 21 we were sitting on $75.4m in cash, cash equivalents and inventory.
This quarter we're conservatively looking at:
Average US Tin ~$42k ($58k AUD) which will equate to circa $55k net of TC/RC
Production last quarter was 2,359 with a temp shut down and the previous qtr just shy of 2,500 so 2,500 this qtr is feasible assuming the March shutdown is pushed out.
With tonnes returning to previous qtr volumes so to you would expect AISC therefore AISC of circa $21k
Operating margin $34k per tonne ($85m total and $42.5m net to MLX)
Area 5, exploration and admin circa $8m
Free cashflow or equivalents of $34.5m net to MLX this qtr plus our $75.4m Dec closing position will see us with a ridiculous circa $110m in cash equivalents and inventory by the end of this quarter, not to mention our investments sitting in NC1 and CYM.
Free cash flow is making the Area 5 capital expenditure look negligible and even if a decision is made to proceed with Rentails, funds won't be needed for sometime and our share of the cost largely sitting in the bank so a capital management announcement mustn't be far away...... what are we going to do with all this money
