Yeah Semmel I guess there’s a lot of FOMO from the legacy auto and the fossil fuel corporates and associated linked banking/ finance industry.
Ford just threw in $20B USD in the ring just to get some sort of foothold somewhere in the market, and Panasonic just said they’ll prioritise TESLA’s 4680 cells over anybody’s else’s cells. ( as TLS now makes up 60% of their revenue).
So you can’t just rock up to them and expect service- they’ll now say “ we’re busy ,get to the back of the line like the others”
Same line will be used by the few AAM producers very shortly.
