Going by their development timeline, Mercedes was likely an EAP customer. As you know they don't have to disclose those until the customer orders chips or IP and signs on the dotted line.
The myth about Megachips has been debunked in Mercedes' press release where it said they worked with Brainchip which means it's a direct relationship not through a 3rd party.
