I actually reached out last night ahead of the earnings announcement and bought a few Pinterest. It was a screaming sell last year but looks appealing now from a fundamental change and also price point. My main thinking is that advertising on platforms that spy on users is dead (EG Face rip) and this is why the Face rip crashed 25% last night. So where do advertisers go? They need platforms that align with what the person is searching for. Amazon and Pinterest are such platforms. Users search for a new kettle and hey presto here are some kettle adverts. We should see a good run on both stocks and I feel earnings will continue to grow on the back of this new fundamental.
