Yes @SteadyEddie this will be huge for remote monitoring amongst other things as you discussed..
As stated in the reports from the company we are heading down the path of a screening tool initially not a diagnostic tool. I think this will be an excellent tool for picking up symptomatic cases with high accuracy IMO. What would be interesting to see if this can pick up asymptomatic or early signs of COVID because this is where the accuracy is degraded in the RAT test.. the deeper the patient seems to be in with the virus the easier it is for the RAT to pick up still however not anywhere near as accurate as a PCR.. so there is definitely no way we will be in competition with the breathalyzer one or the PCR one but these are expensive, not great for the environment because of the waste they produce and take time to be manufactured and shipped out before someone can get their hands on them and the PCR is invasive and slow to provide you with the results.

Yes the Australian breathe easy studies were able to distinguish between viral and bacterial pneumonia with accuracy. Now this could be interesting.. I do think in a major way we would be competing against the rapid antigen test just not the other more accurate ones... but let's see the results first before we come to any conclusions to make these kinds of decisions.. we just need to be an accurate screening tool, we need to be able to pick up COVID cough signatures whether that be from a forced cough or voluntary cough... if we can show this with accuracy we are on the money and share should then reflect the extra massive market potential IMO
