Based on a discount of 10%, in my situation I would benefit by about $2.00 per share selling into the buyback compared with just selling the shares at today’s price. However the current price is depressed and if it were to rise in the future by more than $2.00 it would be a better strategy to keep them. Another strategy would be to sell into the buyback and use the money to buy the shares again at the depressed price (assuming that it doesn’t jump up immediately after the buyback) and await the price increase.

Toa simple investor like me it is a lot of hassle. I will just ignore the buyback.
