Imo the share price weakness has absolutely nothing to do with the company itself.
It is pure reflection of the expectation of rising interest rates. Very soon nothing will be perceived "free" or near free by the consumer anymore. Will WZR still be perceived as "financial wellbeing platform" when the prices for loans double (or at least rise significantly)? Or will WZR not roll over the increased funding cost to the consumer and instead allows its margin to be squeezed entirely? Additionally, credit quality will decrease, arrears will climb and write offs loom.
Don't understand me wrong, I bought some shares today as they are starting to look cheap, but I am buying long-term, looking at WZR as a survivor going into the next cycle...
