Hey Sabine - this is an interesting stock for sure, and deserves your attention!

I owned it from early on, and sold out about 18 months ago when i felt its valuations were a little stretched at the time (some may argue they still are ).

I did very well selling them but my interest in the share never waned ... so when its share price retreated recently I jumped back in again, as i see them even better positioned today then when i sold at a higher price 18 mths ago.I was introduced to the stock by a big money player in the US who I have a small PE board role with in a non competing business segment. They have billions invested in the US and one of their investments was a data centre company in the US, They were intrigued by the small aussie market cap stock that appeared to be making waves in data centre connectivity and looked well positioned in a growing megatrend that is the cloud. They were also blown away that a major investment house like Capital ( new york ) were a major shareholder ( still are today) .

I did my own research and liked what I saw and got in relatively early as i said above.Today MP1 is a truly global growth stock. As your commentary suggests above the company started off selling directly and being used by smaller businesses to provide flexibility and cost savings as they progressed their cloud strategy.

Today as they've signed partnerships with majors like Cisco, and SD-WAN leaders Aruba and VM Ware, they are positioning themselves to become a very powerful supplier to much larger companies ... they've clearly broadened their reach. They are one of the few Aussie tech stocks i think can become a significant and material global brand. Their contracts are now getting larger and more long term, and I think they are well positioned for growth with their virtual edge products, that are attractive to bigger fish than what they've been catching. They appear to have competitive advantage in a high growth sector - good thing right!

It is a little brave to be buying tech which is highly priced in a world where tech is getting smashed, but I felt the pull back from $20 to $13 represents an opportunity to re enter for the long term again. Ive bought two material parcels in recent week. I don't buy on technicals, so this is purely a view on my part that they are well positioned to keep growing and possibly even grow quicker in the future.

Good luck with your decision on this but certainly keep following.
