Once again you obfuscate. You talk about AMP having increasing return on equity then provide the numbers for AMP bank only. You choose to make no comment about what drove the sudden increase which looks to be a huge decrease in costs. As this is the bank only, this could have been achieved by shifting costs to other parts of the AMP business. I don’t really believe that costs were dropped from 131m for 6 months last year to 83m this year for pcp or from 100m in the previous 6m.
you are providing misleading posts.
If you look at underlying growth of the book, deposits went down over the last year and the mortgage book grew less than 1% while house prices increased by record levels.
