Given Glenn is moving 30-40% is just a number as per the peer group he mentioned.
Does it have to be that low?
I am not sure we need to be that agressive. I would be happy with 65%.
My Bank Manager handles that on my current property portfolio and he isn't asking me questions.
With write ups coming over the next 9-24 months in values plus improving conditions I dont see the need to go for a large Cap raising.
Let's not give it away cheaply! Do the bare minuium and let the general growth in the economies come through and drive it down with write ups.
No doubt we need something but I would urge the directors to think about every boomm/crash over the last 40 years. They happen and whilst we have cashflow we just need some time.
Dont make short term solutions.
CER has the ability to return to a very solid company given some pick up over the next 24 months in the USA.
Getting people back to work seems to have become mission No-1 in US politics now which bodes well for CER in the long term.
Cheers
