The questions i ask myself now and then is
If i sold everything today, what would i buy tomorrow?#
How much cash should i be holding? *
Of course there is a hurdle, the buy and sell cost, but that is small in relation to being in the right balance with your overall portfolio.
It also matters where you are in your life cycle.
I am in capital drawdown having retired 20 years ago.
As @Mozzarc mentioned, what you decide to hold depends partly on what else you hold.

Another question one might ask is, if the market went down by x% and stayed there for a while, would i be comfortable with that?
