Think people are making a mistake in the banks. THey are still enjoying the tailwinds of emergency cheap funding by the RBA. Once that rolls off, as its starting to, those NIM will continue to fall. That's the fundamentals of this business.
Expect a short-term rally on beating expectations, but retail punters are buying banks at very high multiples if they buy here.
