A woman has been given a 3 year prison sentence after leaving her child in the car with windows up on a hot day for 4 hours while she played the pokies.
"I just want him to survive because I don't want to go to jail," she said.
Seriously she is more concerned with being in jail that the permanent injuries the child has suffered, IMO 3 years is not enough as she will be eligible for parole in 1 year
