It’s a doozy of an announcement and the information needs digesting. Is it internal forward thinking.... crossing “T’s” and dotting “I’s” for future negotiations? or a requirement from a third party in anticipation of successful results to enter negotiations ? I’d personally take the short term pay cut to pocket their substantial %’s of sales pool agreed to... but this all hinges on the product being commercially viable. So, under what circumstances would you voluntarily take a 50% pay cut ? High probability of success? Definitely not if chance of success was low...
Expecting news on short loop very soon and that announcement will be “price sensitive”.
Interesting how Mr Market reacts...
