I didn't attend the AGM but have a friend who did and passed on the following:

The biggest news out of the AGM was the revelation of the discussions being had with Vale over the acquisition of one of that companies 100Mt copper projects .

AVB has a number of offers to JV their copper project but are holding out for Vale is the feeling.

Its logical that as part of such a deal, Vale would become a major shareholder of AVB.

Next 3 months from a corporate point of view could be big.
