I think that the word acceleration means that they would not wait until the MP sand was depleted before beginning production from the DTR -10 sands via a second well .

IF what they they discovered in the first well justified it .
They decided against doing that based on what they thought they had found.

Now that the MP sand has been found to be only a very small isolated lens of sand and they intend to recomplete in the DTR sand hard to see much justification to drill a second well .

In my opinion they should never been involved in the first well .
They certainly should not be involved in a second deep water well .

Where would the company be now if they had bought Great Bear instead of doing the Hillcorp and Talos farm ins .
They already had a foot in the door .
That's right they would have had to get out of their comfort zone !
