The Benchmark's argument is that Carbonate prices are currently way higher than Hydroxide, I think it's only that. But that is current market anomaly, as the the production of hydroxide is more cost intensive and historicaly hydroxide was always more expensive than carbonate.
By the way, does anyone have the whole article from Benhmark, as I may be completely wrong here
