more of the same as far as information release is concerned - disappointing but true to form

good news as opposed to anything else we don't know
clearest indication the 'short loop' has been successful - don't expect a separate announcement confirming this outcome...it was needed only to confirm the optimisation of the edge process....which as we know was not the design flaw in the device lots IMEC missed.

You could reasonably take the understanding that the fremont equipment upgrade confirms that optimisation on the 'memory stack wafer' specific to that process is known and hence the need for this development in fremont

this of course was separate from the new device lot which perhaps ...again on this announcement...is now under continuing manufacture within the IMEC bunker with the 'design flaw' identified / rectified ( it would have been on hold as stated by Dr W in the last webinar till this outcome 'optimisation edge process' was ticked )
possible IMEC have characterised - rectified &advised the missed design flaw will require said upgrade as additional reason to upgrade fremont? ...seems to fit

without clarification its all guesswork.....though reasonable to assume proactive response to move forward on eliminating the 'missed processing' that Dr W advised was IMEC issue / failure on the previous 2 device lots

don't really expect much SP action around this announcement - maybe weak hands might drop a few

announcement that July device lot on track would be welcome ....that's all the market needs to know...that the 3 month delay has not blown out
unreasonable to expect that ....yep - it is with these guys

downside....nothing left in the fremont waiting room to read
upside - hook up the trailer....secondhand homebuilt equipment yard sale ....this weekend only!
