I understand the context of your argument. MIne would be that charts generally reflect the feelings about the fundamentals, hence the strongly trending share price of BHP. However, given that looking at any chart you will see repeated patterns, particularly for certain shares, you may use these to predict future price moves. Hence i am looking for the repeated pattern of an island top reversal.
I am too scared to write put options on BHP as the indicators are all pointing to overbought > in BHP and the major indices. you may well be right and good luck to you AJAX.
