Not ALL criticism of Derek and Jack was half-baked poorly-informed and un-nuanced @markjamo, but that which was and which was simple venting and a pile on was certainly annoying to me. I don't recall your comments being in that category.
I imagine well informed and thoughtfully argued support for D & J probably wasn't all that annoying to you either, right? Just the vacuous sycophantic stuff.
Not everyone who owns a few hundred thousand shares and has been successful in small business has a worthwhile opinion on how to run an international publicly listed company, yet to read the posts here some days we have scores of people who all know better. I worked as a consultant for about 20 years and one of the first things I learned was that when you walk into a train wreck it may NOT be because everyone involved was a damned fool - the more deeply you understood what had happened the easier it was to see how the situation had arisen. One of the many ways for a consultant to be useless to their clients is to develop responses in the first flush of a new situation. I feel this is very much what we see here more or less daily - people with very little first hand knowledge of the situation bolstered by though bubbles from other posters deciding they know what "should" have happened.
