While we're on the subject of ' communication ' . I think we can all ascertain now ; that part of the issue which has already been communicated by at least TWO high profile QUEBEC ministers......is most likely due to the strong connection that Sayona has with the Quebec Government and its overall battery minerals and electrification strategies.

So in effect everything has to be somewhat approved by the Quebec General Assembly and the various sitting government officials in charge of the relevant departments before it can be released to Australian shareholders.

And I guess to a degree , the Quebec Government doesn't even have that much regard , and is very much independent and disconnected from its own Federal Liberals governing counterparts - So by extension , it could be somewhat of a natural expectation that its unlikely that it would have much acknowledgement for an Australian listed Company or it compliance to its Australian ASX continuous disclosure obligations.

That being said , you can't help but think that with a looming general election scheduled sometime before the 3rd October 2022 , that the current Government will be looking for any positive political spin they can put into the spotlight regarding the economic progress they have made .....especially in the face of COVID-19.

And we've seen this phenomenon in virtually ALL political jurisdictions where the credibility in managing the economy through a pandemic weighs heavily on how the voting public will end up responding.

So what better way than to get your Quebec political spin doctors up and about promoting the fact that your moves to save an Industry in the face of its own crisis has paid dividends via the fact that one of its Investments will be most likely producing Lithium chemicals 2 or 3 years before what was agreed in the Sale of this asset.

So there is definitely some level of political ' mileage ' to be gotten here sometime between now and throughout the lead-up to their General elections . And so I would fully expect them ( Quebec ) to be promoting their successes in this area of the ' value add ' to the advancement of the ' green ' economy and its credentials on its stringent environmental connections with regards to the mineral extraction side of it.

And I don't think that Sayona's commitment to the processes will be lost on the simple fact of the ' quid pro quo's ' which were involved here with the NAL acquisition. So for example its acknowledgement of ALL the upfront additional extensions to environmental requirements due to ' de-watering ' the NAL operation and other additional requirements , and which would have been known by Sayona through its DD and data room processes during the acquisition period.

So the biggest question for me is HOW much of this type of promotion and communication will be launched ahead or just after the turn of their ( Quebec & I.Q's ) budget and new financial tax year commencing from 1st April .......and how much will continue to flow from the direct result of being able to achieve Lithium Chemicals conversion sooner than later under this current Government.
