I reckon some males are born gay but that there is a lot of promotion of this life style, even within schools. Gays have appeared within schools asking if they can address sex education classes, that happening particularly after the marriage equality bill was passed. I've known of women who have had failed relationships with males and turned to a girlfriend. They were not born that way. "Normalise" the behaviour and the lonely, curious, supported characters become adherents....there are many enthusiastic supporters who welcome them.
