Oh Roses are particularly expensive this year as are all flower due to covid, mind you their prices always go up for Valentines day. Economics 101, cost of umbrellas goes up when it rains lol.
I read that Valentines day being on a Monday also made difficult for florists as they would have to buy flowers last week, one florist saying she was not going to sell red roses this year due to the cost ect
But you know it the though that counts not the gift
