That F-150 Lightning is actually the first EV which starts to make sense because it will allow V2H connection. Add a Tesla Powerwall for backup and 10 - 15 kW solar array and you can safely get off the grid forever. No more dodgy bills and accounts from the thieving bastards who retail electricity.
From memory, that F-150 has 140kWh of battery capacity... or almost three days of normal household consumption.
EV's shouldn't be treated as a means of transport but rather an energy storage system which you can also use to transport yourself.
But of course, it only makes sense to someone like me - retired, with a couple of cars parked at home 99% of the time and very, very rarely, do I do Brisbane return (350 kms) in a day. I don't think I'm Robinson Crusoe. there's lots like me.
If a RHD F-150 Lightning becomes available, I think I'll sign up.
