I like your trading style, I have always played the long game buy in low and hold, not every one is a winner but if you do lots of research into the company and management the chance of it turning into a dog is greatly reduced. If you do ride a winner the odd Dog is handy to offset CGT. I am currently riding two companies RAC average 27.5c and CNB average 12c. My dog is TBA. I keep the majority of my investments in LIC's for income and ride all market fluctuations like a roller coaster. I try and hold 10K in cash at all times when I sell out of a winner the profits go into LIC's and my seed capital is reinvested into another penny stock with potential. That is the hard part finding the right stock so sometimes the seed capital can sit there for quite a while until a stock ticks all the right boxes. Sometimes I find a stock and have no seed capital, I never sell out when a stock is in play as seeing the game all the way through reaps the greatest rewards. Once my target is reached I exit the stock, That is baring takeovers which is a nightmare as I want cash not shares in some flea bit life style company.
The good thing is I can sleep at night as the seed capital is very little in the scheme of things and does not matter if I loose it.
