The Australian international border reopening is unlikely to materially affect anything until China relaxes its own quarantine rules for return travelers (who are still required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival back in China). A lot of people seem to forget this. Chinese students were a key retail daigou group and have already been allowed to travel to Australia since December last year.
