I'm just trying to think through what it would be like and not simply come to the conclusion that any war or conflict will mean an automatic increase in uptake in BTM in the EU region.

There may be opportunities, but there may also be barriers and disruptions due to conflict.. if hospitals are overwhelmed with injured civilians and soliders, on top of COVID and the usual patients requiring hospitals... what time does a doctor or surgeon realistically have to take sales calls and introduce new products, who by the way are probably not going to pay for it as they are likely to arrive in the back of a military vehicle and stretechered into the hallways / operating theatres.

But if we do see BARDA start stockpiling, then that is of course a massive plus. But just because they are trialling it (very early stages of trials), doesn't mean they will scrap the trials and just start bulk ordering. It would be a different scenario if they were BARDA approved, in which case you probably would alread see them adding to the stockpiling now leading up to any conflict.

LoL, it won't be that style of introduction. A lorry will drive up with a bunch of supplies some of which will be useful and some not and it will be dropped off for the helpers to sort through. Word of mouth and verbal instructions will be good enough. Can the Ukranians pay for it? No. Can wealthy nations who for political considerations don't won't to supply weapons donate bandages, sutures, Iodine, IV equipment and BTM. Yes.
