The $47.5M NAIF loan covers the majority of stage 2 expansion. NAIF also extended the sunset clause till 30 June 2022 - more than ample time to lock in those additional off-takes with China.
However, even if additional extension is required or further amendments - the government will come to the table and work something out with MMI. Why? Because MMI is one of the largest employers of indigenous people in the region.
