Hi all
I thought I'd post something a bit positive today which may help give shareholders a slightly different perspective.
I'm not sure if I've posted this before but if I have , my apologies
I was invested in a company called AVZ Minerals a while back in 2017/18
It had huge potential, they had discovered the biggest Lithium resource in the world. What could go wrong ???
Well I watched it come down from high 20s to as low as I think about 3c
Sat on it for several years and watched it float around the 4-6c range for ages, started to get despondent and the same sort of posts that we see now on VMS were exactly what I was reading on a daily basis.
Finally it started to move to mid to high teens , by this stage I'd had enough and so I sold at various prices but around 16.5c average
Well recently it hit a high of 99.5c and currently trading at 75c. Just for the record I had 1.5 mill shares ( ouch you say)
They, unlike us are a one trick pony, but that pony is pretty substantial if you look up the size of their resource.
The reason I bring this up is I see a lot of similarities between both companies, their management was also derided as useless and yes I know the irony in what I'm saying because I've put the boot into them as much as anyone else.
Why did the price rise so dramatically ( they have nearly 4 billion shares on issue) , the main reason as I saw it is because they finally figured out and reported to the market how they will extract this huge resource. I believe AVZ will be $2 by the end of the year
Now back to VMS. By the time the resource at Mt Lindsay is fully quantified it may well be the biggest Tin resource in the world. Where does that leave us, in exactly the same position AVZ was only a couple of years ago.
It's all about the confidence the market has in our management to take this massive resource, extract it and make money from it. It really is as simple as that. And yes I know what you're all thinking ,our management aren't capable etc etc. I've been saying the same thing for months now. But and a very big but, what if they do actually have a plan. I didn't think AVZ management had a plan for several years either.
Now add to this Riley, Thor, Kulin and GGN. For those that loaded big at these current prices, good luck to you. Because we won't be down here forever. And I won't be making the same mistake I made with AVZ
Apologies if this was a bit long winded.
