tau people don’t take care at all. On this thread people take care of some and not others. In fact some people are able to take liberties that are not afforded others. The role assignment and permission is as clear as day if you aren’t actually in it. If some people try to defend themselves they get attacked. Of others try to respond in like they get attacked. If they are too weird of their style doesn’t suit or someone decides they don’t like a person. And so it goes
there are more ways of being hurtful and dismissal than name calling. Those ways are often more dismissive, more hurtful and probably more manipulative and mean than others. And for that matter in the case in point no one was called an idiot. In the context of the run of discussion it was also not surprising. In the context of the run of discussion it also seems to me that there’s a bit of shared responsibility
I reckon it can also trace some of the way these problems on the thread have evolved as well. It’s a sociological lesson for those who are fascinated by such things. But I know that it’s regarded as one of those unwelcome parts of my character. However it also precisely that skill that had someone tell me today I was much kinder than them. Because I can explain less than pretty behaviour and be fetched from it.
