Personally I think the processes and how to deal with the virus are finally catching up and falling into the companies lap.
Protect the vulnerable, high risk environments- aged care, hospitals, military, indigenous communities etc. Testing accurately, regularly and quickly in these environments alongside vaccination and antivirals is the way forward.
To give antivirals you need a fast diagnosis early in the infection cycle.
Have been reading a lot lately of expert predictions on what the next 2-5 years will bring in relation to the virus from very optimistic to very pessimistic views. The only thing they all have in common is the virus is not going away, it will either become more predictable smaller waves as immunity wanes and virus becomes less deadly, or the extreme it becomes more transmissible more deadly and jumps between human and animal hosts and back again causing all sorts of issues and rendering vaccines and antivirals useless.
The only one common denominator in all the scenarios I have read is the need for alot of testing in high risk settings, this is Eugeni target market.
Still a buy for me and expect Covid testing will be here for a very very long time.
