My understanding,,,So as long as you put One nation, United Australia Party, Liberal Democrats, Australia one etc, numbered 1 to 4, and any others you like, then put the libs / nats , then all the other independents you know nothing about, and lab / greens last.
Then for example, if vote One nation first, its your preference that if your one nation candidate does not receive enough vote, that your vote be allocated to the UAP as you have marked them second. Hence there will be a pooling, of all the votes that people allocate to all these minor parties / independents, flow onto each other, into one of them. Before the major parties.
If these half dozen or so conservative minor parties / independents, that you know their policies, (not the dozen others who might be labor swings) then dont get up, you have LIB / Nat as no. 5 /6 etc. Then as a backstop, a LIB NAT will take the seat.
The goal is to get as many Conservative minor parties / independents into a controlling position of a hung parliament. Where the Libs will need to stop putting their DAVOS, world economic forum agenda into our legislation.
