Irony is, meanwhile they were doing all this as per your post, China was keeping itself quite and was working on tech while US was busy on capturing oil resources, only to the point now, US realised that the oil is not strategic commodity anymore hahaahahaha.

China has just tested artifical sun based energy source, its a revolution of the century IMO. Mate, its not a game of war using proxies,missiles,nukes anymore, China has progressed to next level known as EMPW (Electro Magnetic Pulse weapons) including thermal and microwave weapons, where they can switch off whole countries power supply in split seconds, can shut down banks,stock exchanges, flying planes etc.

China after keeping itself quite for 30 years has emerged now as an undeclared power. Accept it or not but thats a reality.
