Well of course they want Ukraine to be a neutral buffer zone ! You think that is news ?
They have made that perfectly clear numerous times over the years.
If US/NATO were not preparing for a war against Russia they would sit down with the Russians and negotiate some equitable arrangement .
Why do US/NATO completely reject Russia's concerns ? Because US/NATO is on the warpath.
