Latham says that it will lead to a fall in private hospital cover for all Australians..... seems logical.

But I was hoping he would concentrate more on his stated aim to be economically responsible. Whilst his policies help support this promise but to the undecided he should have made a greater demonstration and explanation.

Wedgie will exploit this with fear and more election bribes... you betcha ..... and if returned will deliver either a huge deficit in the first year (which he has done before) or a complete backdown on the bribes or both.
