As the threat of war between Russia and Ukraine loomed Tuesday, President Joe Biden admitted that Ukraine would be on its own if Russia does invade and that American service members would not be sent to fight – but if Americans were to be targeted, the president warned of a ‘bloody, destructive war.’

In remarks at the White House Tuesday, Biden promised that the U.S. would continue to give diplomacy 'every chance' to prevent a Russian invasion, but he struck a skeptical tone about Moscow's intentions.

'We provided training and advice and intelligence for the same purpose.'

Biden insisted that the U.S. and its allies would not 'sacrifice basic principles' respecting Ukraine sovereignty.

'Make no mistake, the United States will defend every inch of NATO territory with the full force of American power,' Biden said. 'An attack against one NATO country is an attack against all of us.'

Should a Russian missile go astray and say land in Poland killing civilians and American troops expect Russia to feel the force of NATO MILITARY.

And that's exactly why Biden won't send US troops. The US doesn't want a direct war with Russia so if the troops aren't there to be killed he won't be compelled to act.

LOL. They keep saying this like a broken record, but the US and NATO stubbornly refuse to block Ukraine from joining NATO. Russia has been very diplomatically suggesting this in all the meetings but absolutely nobody is listening.

No it won't. That means all out war with Russia and could very quickly go nuclear once one side feels it's losing. Heaven knows if and when the ICBMs would be launched. It would look like the intro to Terminator movie. So the US will have to back down when the time comes (unless they're crazy), but thank goodness it's very unlikely to come to that.
