I am not clever then anyone else. I think I simply do more analysis only because I run concentrated portfolios of 5- 8 stocks. I just feel that sometimes you know enough about a company from their updates and conversations to know the results will be solid. I have always been amazed how often a SP jumps on a quarterly or HY , when the market has already been advised things were going well or the said company was producing a commodity that may have increased 20-30% during the quarter. Despite this many will wait until offical results are released before buying in and paying 5-15% more.
there is one small crane company I hold at present , the last update has made it clear it will be a great HY . They have guidee to a strong EBITDA. I have already estimated cash flow and I am 99% sure dividends will be 12% from my Purchase price. Furthermore other companies who have reported within the sector have had very solid results. A week ago I was buying at 18.5 . Last Friday it closed at 20.5 . Next Friday results are out and my guess it will jump 10%-15%. Yet a bit of homework would have most conclude what will be released well before it is released.

with Senetas I feel we have already been told of the growth trajectory of Votiro . I am also certain the next round of funding ( I think we will need one more ) will see Votiro revalued significantly upward . My point is this info can be assumed with a solid level of confidence . Not certain but highly probable

Next round of funding.? well if Votiro is that great ,we hope some insiders stump up .
Share purchase plan , i dont think so.
They have rung that neck so hard its slim pickings. Retail and wholesale not interested.
Still plenty of spec money out there looking for a home, any expansion .promotion needs packaging properly.
