Go to Page 4 of the ANZ`s September 2009 Pillar 3 disclosure released 25th November. Notice the first graph going up, up and up?
It's higher than any of the Big 4, and, actually, a *LOT* higher, AFAIK.
Have you notiecd we keep being told part of the reason for the hybrids is the redemption of other hybrids in US$?
"Capital position further strengthened post Sep-09 results with offer of A$1.7bn hybrid Tier 1 more than offsetting redemption of US $350m hybrid". Bah. It clearly is only a minor reason.
